The bio-probe has five sample elements, each with an exposed frontal area of 1 CM2. Each time a sample is required for analysis a successive element is removed and replaced with a new one, leaving the other four in place.

The COSASCO® Hot Tap Kit is designed to provide a means of adding the
COSASCO® Access System to any pipeline or vessel already on stream without
shutdown and without product loss. We recommend that fitting locations be
planned for during the original design stage of the product and installed
before commencing flow operations; however, the Hot Tap Kit offers a safe,
reliable method of trepanning a clean hole into the pipe or vessel when access
is desired or required later, when it is impractical to shut down. |
